Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering & Technology, Jhansi is one of the most reputed Engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh, India under the Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU). It was founded in 1989 and the first  batch of Chemical Engineering graduated in the year 2000  with intake of 30 students Since then, it has proved its Excellency by producing not only good professionals for chemical engineering hemisphere but also in producing bloomed and fertile brains.

  Our Objectives  

•    To produce world class engineers and technocrats:-

 In the department, we have elite faculty members with excellent teaching experience. Our institute is affiliated to UP Technical University, Lucknow, and our curriculum have world class norms, in order to provide not only the information but also to provide knowledge to create wisdom in this field.

              Department has fully developed infrastructure, well equipped laboratories, and departmental library. Apart from this department regularly organizes seminars and workshop on its own or with collaboration with other elite institutions. Department is well equipped with CAD lab with chemical engineering software like ASPEN , ORIGIN ,PROSIMULATOR , etc. in order to provide more quality education.

• Academics :-

It provides world class quality education to the chemical engineering students which is reflected in their excellent results. The design of course is according to the U.P.T.U. Lucknow which gives recent advances in chemical engineering.

• Higher Education:-

Under the guidance of senior faculty, student of Chemical Engineering Department develops temperament and character in such a way that they easily sail through GATE, GRE and CAT. Further Chemical Department running a branch council "CEA" which is taking initiatives to provide environment to student so that they can do well in corporate sector.

• Workshops  organised:-

Under Technical education quality improvement program the following workshops were organized by the department:-

1.     “ENVOIRNMENTAL MANAGEMENT”  

2.     “RECENT ADVANCES IN POLYMER AND ITS APPLICATION”

Students of Chemical Engineering Department come in contact of various big and small companies which are visiting the campus for recruitment of students. Such as PDIL, Jay pee cement, sim Infosys, Jubilant organics ltd., Camphor and allied product ltd, Indus logic etc...
